Designed by Carl Zeiss (RLN) in Jena, few were produced and even fewer survived WWII. In West Germany the design would evolve post war into the ZF 4x and latter the ZF G3.

On an early CETME or G3 rifle. Looks identical to the NWM rifle except for the S-E-D selector instead of the S-R-A selector.
